here the screens on progress of the HUD will show up. This post will be edited, so stay tuned

I have now done a few modifications to the first part of the HUD, the Speedometer. Here a screen, but keep in mind that this is not the final version.waiting for your comments

Hey, doesn't looks that bad till now :) So what are you going to change till the final version, cause the HUD looks nearly finished^^

Haha Whity, there is way more HUD than just the speedometer ;)

oh and Ben.. make sure to add a (working) RPM meter :D

mmmh, well, we should find the adress which has a float value, make a texture, and then use d3d9srpite to see the RMPmeter on the HUD

quite quick reply, thx i ll look after the texture, if you can handle the rest. BTW an idea, can we use, as adress value, the sounds of cars engines? it increases staticly with RPM of course, maybe we can hook that somhow

anyway, I can't do this kind of mod with the sounds of cars engines 'cos I'm not so good to do that.
It's too complicated for me, but I'll take a look :roll:

i thoght also about a "skins" folder for the menu, along with an .ini or so where you specify your folder
like
ROOT\skins\glass normal menus
\glass widescreen menus
\default menu
...
and release with a kinda sdk from me for developing own menus, would make CD2 far more customizeable for ppl^^
